The Role:

The PR & Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and public relations strategies that elevate brand awareness, strengthen patient trust, and support the organisation’s growth objectives. This role will focus on building meaningful media relationships, driving strategic campaigns, and ensuring consistent, empathetic, and clinically accurate messaging across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a proactive storyteller and strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This is a hands on role & although you of course have the support of the skills in the wider marketing team and agencies you will be expected to get into the detail and execution of all projects.

You will lead in the following areas:

· Management & guidance of the UK PR agency to drive brand awareness & spread positive stories around fertility in the media.

· Managing internal comms alongside the People team, ensuring staff are engaged & updated effectively.

· Own brand documentation & ensure it is adhered to internally & externally · Keep an eye on the competitive landscape & update teams regularly on how the landscape is changing

· Work with our external partners to drive engagement including content sharing opportunities, event planning and execution

· Identify marketing, media & partnership opportunities

The role is full time working 37.5 per week - a 4 day week may be considered for the right candidate

This is a hybrid opportunity, you will be required to work on site at TFP Oxford Fertility as required and a minimum of once per week.

Travel to other TFP location will be required on occasion.

The Location:

The TFP Oxford Fertility clinic was established in 1992 and is one of the UK’s longest standing and largest IVF clinics. Conveniently located in a business park situated on the outskirts of Oxford, close to junction 8a of the M40, there is ample free parking for staff and patients around the building.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning & Execution:

· Work with internal teams to design and deliver campaigns that support patient acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.

· Manage marketing calendars and coordinate campaigns to ensure timely execution aligned with business priorities.

· Oversee the creation of marketing materials (print, digital, and video), ensuring consistency with brand tone and clinical accuracy.

· Monitor PR & Brand KPIs and produce reports to evaluate performance and inform future strategy.

Public Relations:

· Lead all PR activities, acting as the key contact for media, influencers, and PR agencies.

· Proactively identify media opportunities, pitch stories, and secure positive coverage for TFP Fertility.

· Draft press releases, media responses, and briefing documents.

· Manage any media enquiries, reputation issues, and crisis communications with professionalism and discretion.

· Coordinate patient stories, expert interviews, and clinic-led initiatives for media use, ensuring ethical and GDPR-compliant practices.

· Support Sales & Marketing director with crisis comms if required

Event Promotion & Stakeholder Support

· Develop promotional plans for patient-facing and professional events, ensuring high attendance and engagement.

· Collaborate with clinic teams and partners to support local marketing needs and share best practices.

· Provide guidance and marketing support to internal stakeholders, ensuring consistency across regions and teams.

Collaboration & Leadership

· Collaborate closely with the content, social media, and digital teams to ensure message alignment across all platforms.

· Work with external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes within budget and timelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a PR, marketing, or communications management role (ideally within healthcare, fertility, or wellbeing sectors).

  • Strong media relations skills and a track record of securing national and regional coverage.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.

  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Understanding of patient confidentiality, sensitivity in communications, and regulatory considerations (e.g., GDPR, ASA guidelines).

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field

  • Familiarity with tools like GA4, Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms would be an advantage

  • Passion for patient care and delivering empathetic, inclusive communication.

Location: TFP Oxford Fertility

Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)

Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week - consideration for 4 days per week for the right candidate

Monday to Friday

Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite

Pension: Dual contribution pension scheme

Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays.
